Bungalow Café
A well-known landmark at the coast, located on the upper promenade at Roker, approx. 2 miles from the city centre, the Bungalow Café is a great place to visit if you are feeling a bit peckish from all the fresh sea air.
Keep an eye out for its quirky signposts that read 'To Beach' pointing towards the beach, 'To Village' pointing towards Roker and 'To Germany' which points out to sea. The café sells hot and cold snacks, drinks and offers a Full English breakfast.
