His VR headset not only calms him down during episodes of anxiety, but I also found it helped in preparing him to visit new places if he could see and feel it in immersive experience first, which would lead to increased collective family happiness when we visit the same places for real."

Speaking about her office at Sunderland Software Centre, she said: "Sunderland Software Centre is one of the most humanly office spaces you could wish for. The management team (Berni, Melissa and Jessy) are very understanding and supportive. I would also like to thank Sunderland City Council, in particular Jodie, Neil and Fran for their continuous support. We came here with just dreams and now our dreams are turning into reality!
