Christmas Light Switch on 2024

Kick off the festive season with a family-friendly evening in Keel Square!

Enjoy live music, walkabout characters, and hosts Steve and Karen from Hits Radio who'll bring the holiday spirit with festive tunes and competitions.

Entertainment starts from 5:30pm and lights will be switched on at 7:00pm. Don't miss special guests like Shrek, panto stars, SAFC players, and of course, Santa himself! 

To coincide with the Christmas Light Switch On, The Fire Station is also launching FireSide, its new, free-to-enter festive marquee experience in front of The Fire Station building. FireSide festive marquee opens at 4pm at The Fire Station with food, drinks, and cosy seating through December.
