EcoFest 2025
A festival of sustainability is coming to Sunderland this autumn! The perfect family-friendly FREE event!
Date: Monday 29th September- Saturday 4 October 2025
Time: 10am - 3pm

- Monday 29th September- 1st October- Washington and Houghton Libraries
- Saturday 4th October: Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens & Mowbray Community Garden,
- Saturday 4th October: Expo Pavilion, Keel Square
The free festival will include arts and crafts activities with textiles and recycled materials, as well as an eco-friendly shopping pop-up at the Pavillion in Keel Square. There will also be stalls and stands with information and activities on local growing, cycling and walking, recycling and waste and energy efficiency support- all with the aim of arming residents with helpful tips and tricks to live more sustainably, helping Sunderland move closer to its ambition of becoming a carbon neutral city by 2040.
