Active Sunderland BIG 3K Run

This well-established event is suitable for families, beginner runners, junior club runners, and anyone wanting to give running 3k on closed roads through the city centre a go!

Taking place on the same day as the Sunderland 10K and Half Marathon, the short course and the amazing atmosphere will ensure that whatever your ability, you will have lots of fun with the thousands of other runners in the city that day.

Returning for 2025 we have introduced more ticket options including a combined child and accompanying adult ticket for just £12.50

Please note the minimum age is 5 years and all children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
