Spice Empire is located next to Sunderland Minster and opposite the Sunderland Empire. It's close to the city centre hotels and to many popular bars and clubs.

It is also a C2C (Coast to Coast) stamp station for cyclists who traditionally finish the route by dipping their cycles in the North Sea at Roker.

A quieter bar area is located upstairs for those who want to catch up with friends or for those who want to watch those dancing on the dancefloor below. The DJ plays a mixture of dance and pop music creating a lively atmosphere.

The Copt Hill

The Copt Hill is a refurbished nineteenth century pub with a modern restaurant serving locally sourced food and ingredients. You can choose from pub grub to fine dining dishes, cask ales, wines, ciders and spirits. Enjoy a cosy ambience created by a large coal fire and bread - home-baked daily on the premises.
