The Engine Room at The Fire Station

Positioned in Sunderland's Cultural quarter, The Engine Room at The Fire Station was recently converted from the city's former fire station. The bar and bistro serve a delicious selection of food and drinks in a quirky setting displaying much of the original paraphernalia from the original working station.

The Glass Yard

Located in the National Glass Centre on the banks of the River Wear, approx. 1.5 miles from the city centre, the Glass Yard is a fantastic place to relax, unwind and enjoy an array of home cooked signature dishes in stunning surroundings.

The Good Apple

The Good Apple is an independent coffee shop and vegetarian café. Vegan and vegetarian breakfasts, sandwiches, wraps and salads are on the menu, including a range of coffees and teas.
