#SmartTalking Sunderland

We all know that people from Sunderland are friendly and welcoming, and that we love to talk! To coincide with our jubilee celebrations, we've gathered up our passions, aspirations and quality banter to create something really special.

We want to showcase our collective pride - our fond memories, happy places and favourite haunts - and combine these Sunderland stories with our ambitions for our city's future.

Aligned to our growing reputation as a connected smart city, we have designed an immersive digital experience to excite and inspire our residents, businesses and visitors.

This jubilee weekend, we are delighted to present to you a series of virtual 'talking heads' at various locations across Sunderland. They feature numerous famous faces, including Niall Quinn, Melanie Hill and other well-known names, each sharing their experiences of our city to celebrate all things Sunderland.

Our holographic #SmartTalking heads will be located in four locations across the city on Friday 3^rd and Saturday 4th June from 12nooon-7pm:

• In Keel Square
• Outside the Fire Station
• At The Bridges Shopping Centre
• Outside the Stadium of Light
