Access to Business Support in Sunderland
Sunderland City Council's Business Investment Team are hosting an event for local businesses and intermediaries to outline funding opportunities to support growth and innovation. The event will be held on Monday 13 October 2025 in the Mayor's Parlour, City Hall , Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA between 12.30pm- 3pm.
Sunderland based businesses are invited to this FREE event which will showcase the range of support programmes available in the city, including grants, investment and practical support to assist businesses to start-up, grow and expand.
Attendees will be given a short presentation from a range of speakers and opportunities to network with other businesses and meet the experts delivering support in the city.
Itinerary:
12:30pm - Arrival and refreshments
12:45pm - Welcome from Sunderland City Council
12:50pm - Presentations from British E-Sports, Breez (Sunderland City Council), Low Carbon, BIPC, Growth Fund, North East BIC, RTC, NBSL, University of Sunderland.
1:40pm - Refreshments and Networking
1:55pm - Presentations from Boost Fund, Sunderland Software City, NECA , NEL, Business Enterprise Fund, Venture Sunderland, Education Partnership North East, Creative and Cultural Investment Fund, Flexible Social Finace Fund & Big Issue Invest
