Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend

Head down to Seaburn for the last weekend of June to celebrate and support the Armed Forces personnel of our city at the Seaburn Recreation Ground Sunderland.

What you can expect over the weekend:

•  Multiple local Cadet Force Squadrons & Units
• Military Vehicles, old and new.
• Military Associations and Groups.
• Displays from the Police & Fire brigade.
• Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight flypast, consisting of Hurricane and Spitfire planes.
• Reenactment Groups with living history villages and camps, ranging from the 1300's to modern day, with displays planned throughout the weekend.
• UK Garrison - Star Wars.
• A market village made up of local traders selling everything from Cakes to Clothing to Henna tattoos and hair braids.
• Charitable and support organisations (Local & National) on hand to show you what they do, what they can for you and potentially what you can do for them.
• Caterers for your teas, coffees, burgers, chips, pizzas and more.
• Stage for live performances planned throughout the weekend.
• Dog Show.
• The Salvation Army Band on the Sunday.
• Fun Fair.
