Join this Setting up for Spring workshop designed to help businesses understand customer service principles and how to adapt for your customer, how to create an experience for customers with a focus on standards and service and how to attract new customers.

With Christmas behind us it's time to focus on Spring. Mother's Day and Easter are just around the corner and its time to upskill your retail business in 2025!

The High Street is evolving and we want you to be a key part of the changes in Sunderland. Customer expectations are changing and how you create the best experience in your business will either keep the customers coming back time and again or you will lose them to your competitors. Big and small businesses across the city, multi-nationals and independent businesses are all welcome.

Karen Williamson is a retail expert based in the North East, she will share with you her extensive skills and knowledge to help you set up for spring, this workshop is for any business within the city centre who has face to face contact with customers. There will also be an update on city developments from Sunderland BID Chief Executive, Sharon Appleby and an introduction to a Mystery Shopping Programme which will give you the opportunity to understand how you can improve ahead of the next increase in trade within the city centre.
