Discover an inspiring art exhibition exploring natural forms and shifting tides, alongside live performances, an art market, and hands-on creative workshops.
Highlights include:
Art performances: 'Turn-Re-Turn' (Stephanie Smith & Victoria Armstrong), 'My Sunderd-Land' poetry (Phil Wardle), and 'Body of Water' dance on the beach (Sarah Dobbs).
Interactive art workshops: button art, nature mandalas, sea glass crafts, tote bag printing, and more.
Family activities: mini train rides, model boat sailing, bowls, storytelling, portraits, and life drawing.
Creative challenges: Rapid Draw Rally, postcard art competition, and community art exchange.
On Roker Beach:
Jellyfish mobile-making, seaside statue, chalk walk, sand art, and a relaxed painting session (Sip & Splash).
Live music from The Bunker's Beach Beats (5-9 pm).
Community beach clean and collaborative sand art with Soul 2 Sand.
