Insulate your home  

• A detached home with solid wall insulation could save up to 2 tonnes of carbon per year.  

• Sealing cracks, gaps and leaks and adding insulation can save up to 10% on home heating and cooling costs. 

Change your light bulbs to LEDs.  

• An LED light bulb typically uses up to 90% less energy than regular incandescent or halogen light bulbs and lasts far longer. 

Replace your windows. 

• If your home has single-pane windows, consider replacing them with more energy efficient windows, or adding solar shades or tinting film.
