Silksworth Ski Slope
Embrace your adventurous side at Sunderland's famous Silksworth Ski Slope where you can hit the piste, whatever the weather.
Silksworth Ski Complex and Ski Slope is one of the premier skiing and snowboarding centres in the UK, which allows you to ski or snowboard outdoors all year round.
Get your adrenaline pumping with skiing and snowboarding lessons on three dry slopes. Learners as young as four years old can take to the 'snow' with two smaller nursery slopes, built for little ones to grow their confidence and learn the basics.
The snow tubes are also a fun way to spend your day, while private tuition and lessons will help you get familiar with the slopes, from beginner level to advanced.
If you're a winter sports fan, you can benefit from highly qualified instructors who can help skiers and snowboarders of all ages and ability to progress.
More advanced and experienced visitors can even challenge themselves on the 165m floodlit slope, which is visible from the nearby roads and allows plenty of recreational faux snow fun!
Events and activities run all year round, so visit the Silksworth Ski Slope website for further information on timetables, lessons, fees and requirements.
