Sunderland City Runs including Active Sunderland BIG 3K Run

Organisers expect more than 5,000 runners to take part in the 2023 Sunderland City Runs, with thousands more spectators lining the streets of Sunderland to cheer them on.

Sunday 7 May will see the Active Sunderland BIG 3K and the return of the popular Sunderland City 10K and Sunderland City Half Marathon, both starting and finishing in the city centre between Keel Square and the new City Hall.

The Sunderland City Runs gives the chance for every ability to get involved in a large-scale running event. From Events of the North's 10K and half marathon to Active Sunderland's family friendly 3K run, there is something to suit everyone.  

Experience the buzz of crossing the finish line with the crowd cheering at one of this year's Sunderland City Runs.
