British Triathlon Super Series Grand Final 20-21 August

The seafront of Sunderland will host the British Super Series Grand Final in August 2022 during a weekend of elite racing for Senior, Youth & Junior and Para triathletes. The British Super Series is Great Britain's elite national series and a key part of the British Triathlon performance pathway.

Twelve months later, the world's best triathletes will be coming to Sunderland with the city earmarked to be hosting a leg of the 2023 World Triathlon Championship Series; a prestigious Series which sees the world's best travel to iconic cities around the world. The two events are part of wider work being actioned by British Triathlon and Sunderland City Council around swim, bike, run in the city.
