Which Nose for Witch

Currently there are no instances scheduled for this event

David Crosby, author of Which Nose for Witch? will be in Waterstones Sunderland this Saturday, 24 October, between 12 noon and 2.00 pm as part of the build-up to the Sunderland Spooky Stories Competition for Halloween.

Pop along for storytelling and crafting your own witchy noses!

Which Nose for Witch is "A funny picture book with a great message."

The perfect witchy story for young children this Halloween!

It also has a lovely message: it is great just to be yourself and not follow the crowd!

The story follows Grizelda the Witch, who is now grown up and must choose a super witchy nose! With the help of a 'nose swap' spell, she can try it on! But Grizelda isn't keen on the noses she picks...some are too hairy and itchy, and some get in the way of eating!

Which nose will Grizelda choose? Come along on Saturday to find out and get some inspiration for your own spooky story.

Sunderland Spooky Stories competition is looking for 500 words of funny, scary or otherwise for our Judges. To enter, all you need to do is craft 500 words or less of mischief, mishaps and mayhem that will put a spell on our judges. It's easy to enter, and the rules are simple.

Entries are now open, and the deadline for entry is Friday, 7 October, at midnight.
